Fun Fact: On average July is the warmest month
in most of the Northern hemisphere.
It’s National Ice Cream Month & National Hotdog Month!

July was originally the month of Quintilis in the Roman calendar.
It was the fifth month of the year until January
and February were added in 450 BC.
It got its original name from the Latin word for fifth.
Later the name was changed to Julius in honor of
Julius Caesar who was born on July 12th.

Come celebrate with us on July 14th! We will have an ice cream social in the clubhouse for residents to enjoy from 2-4pm!

Dates to Remember:

July 4th – Independence Day
July 14th – Ice Cream Social

Grilled Chicken Cordon Bleu

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded thin
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 pound triple cream cheese (recommended; Red Hawk) or brie, thinly sliced
  • 2 lemons, halved
  • 8 paper thin slices prosciutto
  • 1/4 pound baby arugula

1. Heat the grill to high.
2. Brush the chicken on both sides with oil and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Grill until slightly charred on both sides and just cooked through, about 2 minutes per side. Put a few slices of cheese on each breast, close the cover and let it melt slightly, about 40 seconds. Brush the cut side of lemons with oil and grill, cut side down until golden brown and slightly charred, about 45 seconds.
3. Put the chicken on large serving plates, top each breast with 2 slices of prosciutto and some arugula. Squeeze the grilled lemon on top and drizzle with olive oil.

Friendly Reminders

  1. If you have an emergency please call it in right away, so we can fix it as quick as possible so that it does not result in more damage
  2. Please do not mess with the landscaping. We are seeing a lot of bushes/flowers/trees/plant material being pulled out of the ground and left in the breezeways and sidewalks and it is unsightly
  3. Please throw all your trash into the trash compactor. We are seeing more and more trash being thrown into the roll off dumpster and it is attracting crows and buzzards
  4. Please be continuously mindful of your neighbors and pick up after your pet at all times.
