May is National BBQ Month & National Bike Month!

Pest Control

The Gardens provides pest control service on the first and third Tuesday of each month; if you notice an issue, please let us know so we can add your apartment to the list. Please do not wait and allow pests to spread.

Changes at The Gardens

We’ve had some exciting changes at The Gardens…

  • Pete Gallagher has been promoted to Service Manager at an HHHunt property in Maryland!

Friendly Reminders

  • We will be opening the pool for you as soon as we can. More details to follow!
  • Please drive slowly through the community and stop at all stop signs. We want everyone to remain safe.
  • If you refer a friend who moves to our Community we will pay you a referral fee of $150.00, please remind your friend that they need to provide your name on their first contact with the office.

ProShred Shredding Truck

The ProShred Shredding Truck is coming to The Gardens on Monday, May 22.

If you have documents that you wish to be shredded, please bring them in boxes to the Clubhouse by Sunday, May 21 at 5pm.

Recipe: Chimichurri Marinade


  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt plus more
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced or minced
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 Fresno chile or jalapeño, finely chopped
  • 2 cups minced fresh cilantro
  • 1 cup minced fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped fresh oregano
  • 3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil


1. Combine vinegar, 1 teaspoon salt, garlic, shallot, and chile in a medium bowl and let stand for 10 minutes. Stir in cilantro, parsley, and oregano. Using a fork, whisk in oil.

2. Remove 1/2 cup chimichurri to a small bowl, season with salt to taste, and reserve as sauce. Put meat in a glass, stainless-steel, or ceramic dish. Toss with remaining marinade. Cover and chill for at least 3 hours or overnight.

3. Remove meat from marinade, pat dry, and grill.

The finish:

Spoon reserved sauce over the grilled meat.

Book Club

The book club is reading Fool Me Once by Harlan Coben. We will meet to discuss the book on Thursday, May 25th at 5 pm in the Clubhouse.
